Fountain Graphics Question

Does anyone know what font style and point the word "Fountain" lettering is? Having the registration numbers and USCG name put on my '03 29 Fever and want to keep the "style" as close as possible.

Yamaha 225 03-24-2009 06:11 PM

I don't think it is a real font. I believe it is a drawing. I have the logo vectorized for cutting.....

Stogie 03-24-2009 06:16 PM

Would you be willing to share a file? Thats what I need to cut the vinyl lettering. Looking for the Bolt logo too!:grinser010:

Once you get the program, there's no end to stuff you can customize. :)

I am a supervisor in a tool shop with access to 5 axix milling machine and would love to make some custom parts.

My favorite little part wasa the "rub rail" cover for the rear of the boat somebody made. I actually told Fountain about it, and suggested they creat a similar part for stock boats:ernaehrung004:

Will, you do not have access to any of those rub rail cover pieces? I do not have one?

I am sure who made them will chime in, I don't have any, but thought they were very nice. They were Billet AL that was anodized with Fountain engraved on them. Looked very nice.:ernaehrung004:

Todd on here made a bunch. They were powdercoated, then he lasered 'Fountain' in them. But he's been mising in action last couple of yrs.

Well if anyone happens to run across one let me know. I am interested.

call the Factory 252-975-2000
Ask for Clint, he can tell you anything you need to know about fountain graphics.

You guys would be better off to strip and repaint/powdercoat your rubrail covers and then get some stick on lettering for the Fountain name. That's what Fountain did. Just stickers.

I could use one of the rub rail covers as well.

This was standard on many boats around 1998.

What about those aluminum battery boxes with the fountain logo. Somebody made them for his boat recently. I could sure use three. I wasn't sure if he was making any to sell or just his own. Then I lost the thread.

like in Post #6?

I made them myself. I make my stuff at work on their equipment. I don't think they would like to see me make parts to sell putting wear and tear on their equipment and the chance of damaging the equipment on non work related projects is always a risk. As of now they have no issues with me doing what I do for my own use (of what they do know since it's all after hours/weekends work), so I just prefer not to jeopordize that.

I thought that was what that picture was but it was hard to tell size. They look fantastic. Be sure to let us all know if you ever are able to make ones to sell.

Hey Yamaha 225 would you be willing to share it one more time?
I am replacing my cuddy doors with white translucent. I would like to have the bolt and the fountain name etched on the back side. So when the doors are shut and the lights on you will be able to see the out line.
I would appreciate it.
