No. I bought it from a guy from Lake Norman.

The guy in lake norman bought it from the guy in Collinsville(original owner). He built me the first motor that lasted 3 weeks.

But the boat is pristine, and ready to rock.

Yes, if it is the one I am thinking of, it is a very nice boat, I know the original owner took exceptional care of the int/ext. No shoes worn on it, and wiped down as soon as he docked.:ernaehrung004:

When I bought it from Rob and it was VERY clean and it is still VERY clean. The only thing I have improved on from when he owned it was I cleaned up the carpet in cabin. It was a little dirty.

I will also entertain trades. I would really like a Gen II Viper GTS but I will consider any Viper. I have cash to throw in with the boat to make up the difference.

95mph seems to be a bit strong for a 510 cub engine in a 94 Fountain. What I would like to know is what prop and what kind of RPM's are you turning to get 95mph ? How much boost are you using.

Hopefully apppedigree will chime in to answer you question. I bought the boat from him. He hit 95 with it. I have only taken the boat out maybe 4 or 5 times and had no problems getting to 80 with plenty more to go on the throttle.

I am just guessing (for fun) but I would say 8psi, dyno around 800 ponies, at about 6000 rpm, with a 28 or 29 hydro prop, that should be around 95+ mph.

95mph on GPS

9lbs of boost trimmed way out and a handful. Turning 6200rpms with a 32bravo and a 1.5.0 drive.

I went threw 2 drives like that then put a different gear in and put on a 30 pitch prop - longevity and cruising. It probably needs a 28 now for all around performance but it will roll.

The guy I bought it from in VA was obsessed with this boat. He sent it back to fountain 3 times to have work done to the hull. It was the first stepped 27 that they made.

The motor is detuned because I did not want to replace motors anymore. It is running 26* timing I think and boost is back down to 4lbs pulley.

It will roll and it is definetly a head turner. I personally cannot believe the price hes asking, it will get picked up for sure.

And yes he was obsessed, if you put her on the scales, I bet she is the lightest 27 out there, opps did I'm not suppose to know that :-)

agree you need to post speeds now, a friend bought a boat was told it was hp 500s plus and did 85, well just looking at pics of motor its not a hp500 and its not running 85, if it was me I would sue the guy and spread his name out, hps did not come with duel plane intakes:eek:. he has a nice boat but he is not happy. so you should take this 27 out open it up for a few seconds and post it or right with pulley /timing change boat has hit 95, I would have thought a 100 with a 32 at 6000 thats a lot of slip around 20%. well its a nice boat I am looking for a 28 to 32 single though myself I got a 1100hp motor and konrad ace for drive to stuff in something.

It does 52mph with a tail wind. I can't even beat jet skis with it.

I don't know exactly what it will do. I am not one of these idiots who buy a boat having never driven a boat and go out with my family in it and sit WOT forever just to figure out what it will do. Call me a wimp if you want, I don't care. I have hit 80ish with more throttle to go without any problems. I only had the boat out 4 times.

If you only had it out 4 times and decided to sell it, what is it that you don't like?

I don't have boat friends anywhere around, it takes me 4 hours to clean it after I take it out because I am kind of a clean freak, insurance is a f---king rip-off. Those are the main reasons.

the HP465s have dual plane intakes.
