Whipple or Procharger
2001 35 twin step with 500efi's. Would you go with whipple or procharger? Anybody with any info would be greatly appreciated. Thinking 5psi boost on procharger would put me close to 100, not sure about the whipple. Anybody????

I don't have personal experienc on either, however from the research I have done Whipple is the way to go.

After much research I used Prochargers. I made 5 lbs of boost for about 180 hours with no trouble at all. I’ve seen both systems make boats go fast. The main performance difference is the slight “lag” you get with the Procharger. The ”lag” is very slight and the low-end torque feeling is much more than stock, even with the bigger props. My time-to-plane was greatly reduced. I understand the Whipple is “instant power” which is great if you are running #6 drives or a really light boat.

Airwolf767..How fast is your twin step now? I have a 2000 35 twin step. I also have 500 H.P. EFI's.

Whipple or Procharger
I have never had it on radar but gps says 88mph. Hoping to bust 100 with a charger but would like to know if anybody has any experience with this boat and chargers of either brand. Thanks

I have a 38 with whipples and have had no trouble at all. I understand Procharger has terrible customer service. Dustin at Whipple has been great. With stock 500EFI's I was 82 MPH, now 95MPH. Get Whipple.
