Water Temp Rises When Come Off Plan ?
 

I have a 2000 Fountain Lighting with 500Efi's With xr's daul low water pick ups. Okay when I come off of plane no matter if I am running hard are soft right after I come off plane both motors water Temps Rise up to 220 for 10 seconds the Light comes on but the Horns dont go off then come right back down !!! Is it because there picking up air when I am coming off plan I always pull my drives in before I start coming off plan it has been doing it for awhile just wanted to see what you guys thought !!!!

Any info helpful

the water may be pumping out the side water pickups. You may try screwing set set screws into the top 2-3 holes or even all of the side water pickups. Saw some boats like that from the factory.
