Anyone lookin at the 27 at harrisonmarine
 

What do you guys think is a fair price for a 27 right now. Boat is in great condition,50 hrs and 500 hp. Sits on brand new aluminum trailer. THANKS JB

I saw this boat as well it looks nice, but I don't understand how repo pricing works? I would think it should be priced under wholesale price which they have at 33000. I would think not knowing anything about repo boats they would sell well below wholesale in this market.

That boat was for sale last year as a repo. Now it is being brokered. When I looked at it last year it was clean but I thought there were lots of flaws for the low amount of hours.

Really want to know the true story behind this boat as it had 33 hours on it last year. My bid was canceled last year 'due to legal issues with the boat' which really sparked my interest. I called Fountain with the HIN and they had no record to the number on the back of the boat. They were able to track it down as being sold to Jefferson Marine and the last history was some warranty work at a local marine salvage the 1st year in service. Ironically Jefferson Marine had a fire that year that burned up all records they had. Long story short IMO is that the boat is 11 years old and once it hits 150 hours no one will really appreciate how new it is. I would place the value in this economy with a trailer (which it did not have last year) much less than what it is being advertised for. It seems like Fountains in that lot pretty much go for market value.

Boat is not on the site anymore. Anyone know who purchased?

It's still in the yard. I live right around the corner and saw it there sunday.

How about the 29 Fever with the twin 500 HP's?

I love mine. haven't run into anything it can't handle. But mines a 35. St clair is always rough on the weekends. To many boat wakes. It's very calm during the week. Everybody says fountain suck in rough water but after they ride in mine they have all commented on how smooth it is.
