27 fever - original bimini

I'm trying to understand how to fit the original bimini on my new (to me) Fever 27. The previous owner never used it, and also removed the steel bases where the arch should be attached.
There are three of them on each side.
For the bow and mid ones it's pretty obvious how to fit them:

But the aft one is different, and the correct way to fit it isn't obvious:

I mean, in the above pic it's installed with the shorter part towards the bow, but it could also fit the other way round. And to be honest, I also don't understand the reason of its weird shape...
Any suggestion is more than welcome!

PS: more questions to come, I'm just beginning to discover the boat and I'll surely have many other doubts.
Please be patient, it's my 1st Fountain... :)

Looks to me like somone installed that themseves. You just have to try to see which way it goes.. It may not be the top that was for that boat.

Do you think so?
In a corner of the top there is also the boat #, hand written apparently by the same hand who wrote it on the cockpit cover, and also on the foam of the cabin cushion.
Besides, the cockpit cover goes round the points where the steel fittings are screwed, in order to use it also with the arch fitted.
That's why I expected it to be factory made...

The center set of brackets should be for the bows, usually the main bow goes to the rear and the smaller bows that mount off of it go forward. The forward and aft brackets are probably for the straps or braces to hold the top.

Interesting, thanks for your hints.
But actually the arch is a tad more complicated, with three bows (sorry, I forgot to take a pic of it) which surely fit all the three brackets on each side of the boat.
It seems to be made in such way that it can be quickly detached from the mid and forward brackets, laying it down on the aft cushions.
Btw, there's no doubt about the mid and forward brackets, because they're all the same as in my previous pic of the mid one. And their screws are nearer, compared to the aft bracket, so since the holes were already drilled on the deck, it's clear which brackets fit which holes.
It's just the orientation of the aft brackets which still puzzles me. Well, also the reason why it's different, but I could live with my ignorance as long as I could be sure to have fitted it properly... :)
