Replacement for Attwood Air Vents?
I've replaced my stock attwood plastic air vents several times because of yellowing after a few years. Are there any vents that are a direct replacement? I have tried some powdercoated ones from Eddie Marine that I ended up sending back because they wouldn't fit. Any suggestions?

I replaced the white with the chrome finished ones, got them from West Marine. They looked better on my last boat, in my eye, because of the anniversary paint graphics.

I had my buddy at his auto body shop paint all my vents including the large side ones.
Everything matches and NEVER fades. Yes I know that the large ones are painted 'glass but still wanted everything to match to the gel on a 1996 lightning |
Appreciate the responses. I might try to find some metal ones and have them spray painted to match my color.
They can't spray the plastic ones, can they? |

They can't spray the plastic ones, can they? I guess I didn't clarify that I had the factory stock plastic vents painted. They have a gloss shine to them and never fade. |
I glassed over mine. Plenty of airflow from the cockpit into the engine room already on my boat -- there are 6x12 inch hole each side under the side of the cockpit. I don't know, but you might have openings there too. Mine's a sportfisher, so its obviously a lot different from a lightning.
