Replacing Starter in 35 Fountain
Has anyone replaced a starter on 35' Fountain? How did you do it...how hard was it?
I have a 1997 35' Lightening with Merc HP525SC Bravo dirves. The starter on the starboard motor is acting up. Joel |

Pull the exhaust manifold off over the starter.
As USA1 said: Pull the exhaust manifold 10 min undo the starter wiring 3 min pull starter 5 min. Not that bad of a job. Just have to be a little bit of a contortionist. Installation in reverse. |
