Exhaust Silencers
 

Looking for recommendations on exhaust silencers. Running a 2000 38 Fever with intercooled 575sc's. Typical thru hull under the swim platform with flapper caps. Gimme the good, the bad and the ugly....

Drew Marine Shotguns. Had them on a Velocity with intercooled 525 SC's and they did a good job of taking the sharp bark out of them, mellowed out the noise well with no loss of speed at all. Small units, light weight, and not real pricey. I would buy them again.

The cheepest I found and that work realy well are from REX marine only 119,00 a pair,,, we put them on our boat and they did just fine.

My recommendation is the louder the better.

I know in Alabama the water patrol has developed a problem all of the suden with our exaust... the have been writing tickets to everyone they can...
