380 K planes on a 38?

Would it be a good move to upgrade to 380 k planes on a straight bottom 38 fever? I boat in rough water.

I tried that with our 42. Didn't notice any difference other than it was super sensitive to trim adjustments. I like to run level. Drove me crazy. I took them off...I'm happy again.
