hi guys what oil should i run 20w50 royal purple or mobil 1 syn also i have a stock 502 what spark plugs do you guys run i have been running stock a c delco's with no issues .

Well oil is like an a-hole everybody has one. One agreement i think people can make is that once you go synthetic to not go back to mineral and vice versa, and look at the manufactures reccomendations. As far as plugs, dont waste your money on all those crazy plugs out there, run the factory plugs, regular old copper top delcos or whatever else they may be

I run straight weight Royal Purple.

Rotella truck oil is a better oil. Good read below.

heres more questions i have always ran 15w 40 rotella t diesel oil in my engine with no issues other than my oil temp go's to 250 degrees when i am running wide open that seems high to me so should i switch to royal purple 20 50 or no ? also is there any reason why i should be nervous to switch to synthetic . the only thing i can think of is lifters / cam wear , but don't i have a roller cam stock the engine is a 97 502 mag carb . but even in 93 were'nt they roller cams then too .
