? about fuel tank pickup
 

I have a 97 29 fever twin 454 mpi's one engine quit today no fuel pressure it has areomotive red pump. I'm not sure yet if pickup tubes are good or pump is bad. Has anyone had trouble with pickup tubes if so how you fix them? Mine has 1/2" brass elbows at top of tank is that factory size ? Wont be back to boat till weekend so just trying to be ready to fix it. Thanks for any help.

not a fountain but I had one of my pickups fall apart in the tank. same cenerio, one motor died and had no fuel pressure. Lesson learned......check the pick up tube first,dont replace the fuel pump first. $200 wasted and about 8 hours changing it and the whole time it was the pick up:lolhit:
