They can be adjusted both at the dash and at the drive. Really don't know if it matters where you do it but I've always done the units on the drive. Seems these things are always in need of a tweek, doing mine later this week.

Assuming you have mechanical indicators on a Bravo drive, the easiest way is to just loosen up the clamps that hold it to the side of the trim ram, and slide the plunger housing forward/aft; and re-tighten.

So after loosening the band clamps you slide the stainless housing for or aft and it moves the trim indicator at the dash, makes sense.
I have also been told you should do your baseline setting with the drives at the full IN position and then check at #3 for a dead on adjustment. #3 being neutral flush with hull.
If I have it wrong please advise.
Thanks again,
John

Thanks for the info, the boat is equiped with XR Drives. By clamps are you speaking of the stainless band clamps?

Bravo and Bravo XR set up would be the same, you have the right clamps and process to adjust as well.
I usually set them up in much the same manner as you describe above. They can be a PIA, and often you will end up playing with both before you get it just right. An assistant in the boat is a real plus, tip here is to
find a real patient one!
