Let Me Ride!!! Ghetto Style!
Is anybody using those Fountains? I had a blast last night in the cold. I finally got her tunned in enough to run on Lake Michigan. There were Choppy little 3-4 footers, It was great. I just layed into it, trimmed it out, and let her ride. My eyes were watering so bad you would have thought one of my dogs had died. That boat is a blast to run, you better watch out Pocket Change! I got the docking all figure out too( its just the Baja with 15 foot more bow, and a couple of extra switches and levers); you have to back into our marina in a channel that usually has current and wind, once you can do that, you got it. P/C, I'm ready to here a little Dr Dre " Let Me Ride", cruising the channel! Midnight

Chad,
I'm glad to see someone is using their boat. I went out today for the third time of the season. I have been trying to take care of my high water pressure. I finally found a way to keep it at 22 max. Parts are getting ordered tomorrow. Next weekend its Cruz time. If you saw what I did to lower my water pressure you would have a good laugh. BTW Fountain and Mercury both suck for sending a boat out of the factory with this kind of problem. Sorry Reggie but we need to talk. Hope you had a good day. Dan |
Runnin' the Fever
Plenty of Fountains about on the Gulf Coast. I was out yesterday and saw a 38 Lightning, a 27 and a couple of 35's over the weekend as well. She's running pretty well, but now I have a cracked prop. (See my post on "Cracked Hydromotive".)

Chad,
I emailed the pictures to you. Dan |

Dan- thanks. Maybe I will be in a 42 with 540's:rolleyes: . Life in a Fountain would be a hell of allot better with out those left hand Sticks. What a goofy deal, I'm getting used to it, but was is the logic there:confused: . Is that European or something? Midnight

I thought left hand stics were for the throttleman.
|
Midnight- In the words of Reggie himself..."Unrestricted throttle arm movement"......I was concerned at first but people told me i would get used to it real fast.......they were right........Doug.
|
after having used left handed throttles for the last 8-9 years if i every bought another brand boat i would special order left hand throttles it took me about 1/2 a day to get used to them and the rest is history i especially like them on the left when docking.

Reggie's got you all conned into liking his leafty crap...just rassing you guys! If your right handed you will never be faster with your left, unless you cut the right one off but then you have to steer with your feet!
|
I'm with you Dyno, I am right handed. I am getting used to the left, but in hard waters I know I would always be allot quicker with my right hand(place joke here). Though during docking with triples, I think that the sticks being to left gives you easier access because you need every bit of both hands. Midnight:cool:

Chad, you dropping in this weekend? Just got off the phone with Auto Top and my interior is done, they just have to put it back in the boat. Should be back in the boat by next Friday. Motor should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. Thinking about pulling the boat up to TAG this weekend and changing the oil in the other two motors, maybe the plugs too. :D Busy? :D
Give me a call Rick |
Meat, what's the story? Are we working on that thing this week or what. Thursday I have Golf, Friday I will be at the lake weather permitting; Monday and tuesday I have open houses until 7. Wednesday would be solid. We need to check with Jay to be sure we can come up to the shop. Also we need a definate on SOTW- Is she going or not. Let me know. Midnight
