Anybody ever had a crooked stern drive?

It is not perfectly strait up and down when looking at it from the back. The housing is bolted to the transome strait however the head is crooked, anyone ever had this problem?

how much play is there in the gimbals?

a little . I get a small click back and fourth but it does not seem to have enough play to make it straight
