That is probably the baddest azz 35 I have ever seen. They are asking top dollar for it though.

xcpilot,
Great looking boat. Will let you share the performance numbers to gauge if there is enough "bang for the buck":drink:
Not sure every inland lake or river boater would be better off in a 38 or 42 vs. a 35. Perhaps some late model owners could chime in why that would be.
I concur. I am a lake-river boater (Lake Havasu AZ) and I don't need or want a bigger boat! This 35 is big enough for Pete's sake. My last single engine boat was a 25 and it was enough here, but I have always wanted a big fast Fountain.
As far as performance goes I am quite impressed with the 600's. My 525 35 Lightning boat would do 100 on its best day (I saw 100 once and 99 once). But these 600's are a different animal. Since the boost is controlled by a bleed valve (like the waste gate on a turbo), I expect them to run about the same all the time. The 525's would lose 5 mph in the heat of the desert in the summer leaving you with a 95 mph ride, but I think the 600's will still run strong in the heat. Anyway we saw 106-107 mph the first time out in 75F and I expect similar numbers in the summer heat. Also I am pulling the mufflers in favor of silent choice and I expect some gain here as well from what Kelly's experience was. If I see 107-108 with no mufflers vs 95-96 in the summer heat with 525's I would say that is a significant difference. Then if I still need more speed the Whipple mods will easily get me to 120+. Is that enough bang for my buck?

I don't think I can post photos. Maybe Kelly can put up a couple of the ones I sent him.
