Never saw one with an HP500 and no hydraulic steering ... just seems different, thats all. I had a 1996 27 with same graphics and an HP 500. It had the newer style valve covers (flat with chrome decals) and Latham steering. The Lightning graphics are one of my favorites.

I am pretty sure the gen 5 500hp had the valve cover that i have and when they went to gen 6 they went to the ones you are talking about bob t. correct me if im wrong but i believe the switch fron gen 5 to 6 was in 1996.

a bit high on $$ IMO, lots of deals out there, if you really want to sell your going to have to price it aggressively, looks clean though

If you don't generate any interest in a week or two drop your price by 1000 every week or two. It really just depends if you want to sell it or keep it. In the long run to sell for 2-3 grand less is nothing if you are ready to make a change for the start of the season. I had a super clean Baja 33 Outlaw before the Fountain and that's what I did and it sold in a month for right at bluebook. But that was in 2006...

From what I have seen on the market they seems like a fair price or even descent price. Granted it only will hit 68 with one screw. But looks like a nice boat. I bought a 91 29 with twins last year for 26. So I dont think you are bad priced. Considering you are not getting into a descent fountain regardless of age for under 22-25 grand.

Your going to have to take in the fact that economy still isn't great and with gas prices being at what they are or might be this summer boats like these might sit around for a while. But For somebody that wants in and wants a fountain 34g's is not a bad price, for the average or even slightly higher than average joe to go out and spend 60-80 grand on a newer boat or six figures on a new boat just isnt in the cards. I would think people with used boat and people with older boats will be more succesfull this year
