I'm sure you've already checked, but I would make sure the connections at the ground and sender are tight. ts27

I have replaced the sender with a new one from gaffrig. Doesn't the sender take it ground right off the motor? When I took the older one off (which looked pretty new like someone before me has tried this) it had looked like they had put silcone on the threads....but the new sender did the same thing. I have just did an oil change with new filter we shall see once I'm out on the water because I cannot create this problem while she's on the trailer. For 3 years my solution has been after the alarms go off shut down reset the motor start it up and leave it in neutral to raise the rpm's to keep the pressure up while getting out of the bay. Once the 5 mile and hour bouy is past she good to go!

Send it to Livorsi and they can fix it. If they can't I am getting all new gauges for my 47' Fountain and I will have plenty of old gauges.

You're right about the sender, but the ground I meant was at the gauge...just a shot in the dark. I'm no guage expert, but that's the 1st thing everyone told me to check when I was having trouble with my guages. Turned out that just about everyone of them were loose.

Obviously I dont have a fountain but this might give you an idea of what vinyl can look like..Its a great way to update a dash without spending an arm and a leg. I only spent about $75 having this vinyl designed, printed and shipped.
