29' fountain sun pad Removal

Does anyone know what is involved in removing the sun pad on a 1997 29' fever. I don't wanna take the fiberglass lid off, just the pad.. Any input will be appreciated Thanks

Remove the plastic plugs on the underneath side of the hatch. Behind those are the nuts that hold the hatch pad itself to the FG hatch.

Make sure you also find the ones along the edge. Sometimes those can be covered up by the rubber seal

Thanks, That makes since now. What is the metal band around the pad for?

Finishes the edge of the FG. Leave it on.
