New gauges need some input
 

I am going to put new Livorsi gauges in and was wondering if someone can tell me what size the gauges are I cant get to the boat right now to measure. Also my boat is white burgundy and hunter green I was thinking platinum face chrome with red ring on a white dash how will that look or just do chrome Any input would be helpful thanks guys.

make sure you take the time & go thru gauge for gauge and make sure you get em all right the 1st time .. example if your carburated for fuel pressure let him know so you dont have a 100 lb EFI gauge built . if you need part #s let me know or hit either of there websites :drink:

No carb 502 mag with a wipple I do need to know what range for the water press though

water pressure = 0- 35 lbs

keep in mind you have to order Deutsch connectors with your gauges and you will have to solder & heat shrink every wire on the new install ... No Biggie just take your time and tag and mark every wire as you take it apart

Ok lol I think I can handle that sure app all your help and will take any advice I can get.

DITTO...especially marking the wires as you take them off the old gauges. I've seen pics of your fever...if I had your dash I wouldn't bother, but nothing wrong with new bling!!!:evilb: and keep us updated.

Ya the the dash don't look to bad started of was just going to replace two gauges then thought just do them all now I think I will get the dash painted to lol got t stop some where :lolhit:

Mine looks just like that one except for the two gauges next to the tack and speed I am def going to do this think I will have the side panel painted to like wildman did looks sharp just need a break in this stupid weather lol

One of the reason's i went with the autometer platinum chrome series. No need for all that poppycock. Plus im a tight ass and they were quite a bit cheaper!! :drink:

Its not that bad to solder & shrinkboot and change over to deutsch connectors... he will have to reconnect /solder/shrinkboot the indicator lights anywho :kiss: just sayin :drink:

Where did u buy the autometer platinum chrome series? I can't find that on there website.

I hear ya...I just been using autometer for years in all my stuff, always had good luck with them. The livorsi's that came with my fountain had "Autometer" stamping on them.

No doubt the options and looks of the livorsi setup is just awesome! :drink:

You just need to look under autometer gauges, click on the gauge you want, then it will bring up the white, silver, silver chrome, or carbon fiber series in that particular gauge....

Mine's supposed to be back this week, finally got in touch with the guy...I still gotta put motors back together, drives back on, and a few other odds and ends..
