What batterys have you had great luck with
Trying to decide what batterys to get to have the most reserve and cranking power
Kirkland batteries from Costco. If I'm correct there are only two companies making all the batteries available today. Just a lot of different labels.
SeaVolt from West Marine.

Have run Interstate, Optima, Deka, they really all seem the same, if the cranking voltage is correct for the application. Dont have real high draw from big amps, just regular stuff. But then I dont set for hours with the stereo cranked up either. Do a search the subject has been discussed in detail several times.

I have had good luck with Blue Optima Marine Deep Cycle batteries, mostly from a longitivity stand point. They cost twice as much as a regular batter but last 4 times as long. I have a Blue Optima in my flat bottom that is from 1998 and it is still going strong.

second the west marine sea volts, they really are just rebadged deka's at a much better price. I've used them with some BIG stereo's and always had good experience.
Energizers from Sams club. The big 27 battery is 72 bucks. And it works great.
Interstate
Blue top Optima's. Smaller, lighter, and sealed. No spills with those.

Im giving the kirklands a try. 74.00 at costco. I have seen good things about them on multiple forums.
