I have a 27 and I think it would get pretty small in a hurry on Lake Erie. It's a great lake boat but not a Great Lakes boat. IMHO Any 24 is probably too small.

The 24 cs is a sit down boat and is really more like a 21-22 ft. The 27 has drop down bolsters and is more like a 24-25 foot boat. That being said I would look for a 27 or 29 single.

The 24 has a very shallow V as well. The 27 will have a much better time with any chop.

[QUOTE=Thunderstruck27;3431549]Okay...I'll bite. I've already seen a previous thead about the 27' being more like a 25' in reality, but you didn't bother to explain from what aspect you feel the 27' is more like a 25' boat. Care to explain?:grinser010:[/QUOTE
If you subtract 2' for the swim platform and -1' or so for the beak and it is a 24-25' boat. I say this because a friend has a older 24 outlaw and it is just as big as my 27 fever side by side. |
if you want smaller lakes and into water sports the CS, if you want bigger water and speed than the 27. I would think the CS would be a harder market to find if you were the one trying to get rid of it
