Who is coming to Jammin of the James?
I was talking to Mark S president of the RPBA and he said that there are going to be 3 starts this year, fast cats, fast V's and the rest (I guess the cats were scared :lolhit:) So who in the Fountain nation is coming?
|
I am! What start will I be in? :drink:
|
Hey Mark
We are bringing three or four Fountains from Nashville, all will be in the 100+ group if that's the fast V's. Almost forget 1 Acitve Thunder PS It took me about four days to get over Jacksonville! I owe someone $$ for the booth Saturday night. |
NSF ? Alot going on these days with family, probably will be a spur of the moment decision.
Jacksonville FL............................ You Tenn. guys set the bar high for sure! |

Bullhead,
I think I have read that it is 100 miles one way. Is there 93 octane available on the water. Thanks, Allen |

You guys are making a helluva showing this year. Over 100 boats and we have 19 Fountains registered. We also have more Active Thunders than Cigarettes this year :drink:
|
The Nashville Crew will be there Thursday afternoon!

I geuss that means that there will be another v-bottom brand in 20th position @ the lunch stop. Just sayin.............:
|
Have fun, be safe, and remind them all why Fountains are so popular.
Knew a month ago that weather delays this spring had pushed busy work time back to this event, kept holding out hoping there was a way to make it. Not happening. Take lots of pics and vids, we will make it next year and hope to meet up with many of you at other events soon. |
Sorry you are not going to make it Kelly.....your boat would have been a perfect fit with this group....see you next year
|
thanks to all the Fountain guys who made it to the run....at one point after the first card stop when the river got wide we had six 42's, a 47, a 38, and a 32 all "cruising" at 100 mph...too bad the helo wasn't around, it would have made an incredible photo

I am sure you guys got some group photos, so lets see 'em. The TN crew did not fill the 35 ft. void in that 100 mph parade ? So who was the fastest of the family ??? |

That is tough luck for sure. No warning on most ignition failures, they just happen.
Glad a good time was had anyway. Those of you that put the time and effort in to be there deserve recognition. Trips like that take energy, funds, and time. 105 seems like a comfortable cruise pace, given that group of boats.:drink: |
