Steering Staft Will Not Work With New Wheels

Im Installing All New Guages, Dash , Throttles And Steering Wheel. I Have The Old Tapered Square Shaft And My New Wheel Is Tapered Round. Need Help
Livorsi Told Me **** Out Of Luck. Will Not Work..

Could you cut the center out of the old wheel, tap some holes, and bolt the new wheel to it?
