[QUOTE=TRL505;4315332]Ok you hater/homos....some of us have businesses to run, and my kid has decided he loves to play baseball...which is totally screwing up my ability to get to the lake and blow $hit up this spring/early summer. However, I did get down this weekend and get a decent 118mph pass in. RPMs are a lil low (5750)....so there is more MPH to be had. I am honestly getting used to/learning driving this thing as a #6 boat. It is a lot different than the Bravo setup was, and I know Im not driving it to its full potential.....yet. Im going to try a smaller set of 6 blades (35x16.5) that a buddy is going to loan me to see how those work. Im still thinking that 5 blade 37's are going to be the setup. I think the 37x 6blades im spinning are giving it stern lift and stuffing the bow.

And still no pics.....
Seriously, though good luck!

Seriously, congrats, I'm glad to hear it's up and running!

Eddie young built and tuned motors so my guess is they will last. Lol.

Yep, I would bet on them surviving. Not against.

Now all you Phucks can chime in and start the ball busting......I look forward to it. lol

So basically what I got from all this is: You don't know how to drive a boat.

Additionally, you forgot to tell them the real reason you have no time is because you have turned into a "dirt bike" poser who now spends all his money on flat bill hats, taking pictures (throwing up dueces) with the Monster Energy skanks, driving around with your KTM in the back of your truck 24/7 because you don't know how to unload it, or probably even start it.

Lastly, how does it feel to have #6s on it and it is slower? LOL

1) You owned a boat for like 9 days, dumped 30k into it....and your wife made you sell it...so you have zero room to run your cack washer.
2) I do love Monster Energy Skanks
3) I also enjoy Roosting
4) Don't get me started on your most recent investment/endeavor. Im sure the thread you have started on "***swholovek5jimmys.com" has already eclipsed this one. Im sure this purchase has pissed your wife off so bad that the length of Dr. Dong she is taking before, during and after her "late shifts" could be measured in fathoms.

Does anyone know of a staggered boat with drives as far apart as a side by side?? I do...LOL

keegan 07-09-2015 04:26 PM

We are taking it to the shootout where it will bow steer itself into dry land...

Did you get a new boat?

575cat 07-10-2015 08:08 AM

Yes had a new Nordic28ss built last year .

Now this thread finally got good again!! That thing looks good! He needs to do something about that rear sag though. Once he fixes that and throws a LS in it, then he may be cool enough to roll with me...LOL

Are you coming to the sewage 500 @ LOTO this year?

Kelly O 07-14-2015 06:03 AM

Need to get down there and make a pass one of these years, not sure it will be this year.

Would love to talk some moto with TRL, and explain some riding techniques (once we teach him how to unload and start it).

SR-71 07-19-2015 10:02 AM

I haven't checked into OSO for months. Scanning down through the posts today I was surprised to see this thread still going on! Over 1,600 posts, wow, tough to read through all of this! TRL what's the bottom line. Did RF Boats come through for you?

575cat 07-19-2015 05:00 PM

I think this thread is dead , no more info , :(cant be good .

TRL505 07-20-2015 11:32 AM

Boat runs good....but not fast enough. Stay tuned....working on the next bad idea with Eddie as we speak. If any of you need a sound financial advisor on how to make wise investments.....give me a call.

took my 38' to RF Marine late 2013 for insurance repair to port XR after hitting something in water. RF was paid for Port XR replacement and other issues wrong with boat in the sum of $17,000. I four weeks ago while on poker run had port issue yet again, come to find out an older Bravo 1 was used to repair my boat instead of what was paid for. who takes off XR, bills for XR and replaces with junk older Bravo 1?

ALL_IN! 09-04-2015 12:26 PM

Not to hijack, but you are kidding right???

No Sir, I am not. RF charged for replacing my broken port XR and replaced it with an early 1990's Bravo 1. Worked all of 2014 what little I used it and broke about 4 weeks ago. I just thought wow must be a little too much engine for XR's. Dropped boat off at local shop and received call next day with horrible news that I no longer have an XR on port side, that it had been replaced with junk Bravo 1. I have hired a lawyer and have also got my insurance company involved. I will not only not take anything of mine for repairs to his shop or where he works ever again, but plan on making it personal goal of mine to make sure thousands of boaters know this story.

Unlimited jd 09-04-2015 12:50 PM

You never noticed it wasn't a new xr on the boat?

Do you have a picture of the drive ?

I have the broken XR housing he left me come home with after he did work and I have the Bravo 1 housing at my home I just replaced with a new XR. Like I keep saying externally they look the same but it's when you get inside you see where Bravo 1 is just made of cast where XR's are cased with metal for more strength and the gear sets are way more bulky and nicer with XR than the junk Bravo stuff. There was no doubt it would break with my boat having 700's in it.

Unlimited jd 09-04-2015 02:20 PM

So a 1990 bravo 1 looks the same as a 2012 xr to you? Want to buy my 2010 fountain??

You state "replacement", could you clarify what that means?

Okay, you have an interesting story, but how about a little background and some fotos. If this is fact ....
well, thanks for posting, but you really kind of need to back it up . If true... wow is all I can say.
