I was hoping he would get them back together in a hurry , when they get that cruise ship afloat they might need some YOUNG power to tow it back to drydock and you would be up for the challenge !!!

I'm trying my best to get them done. I haven't been on much lately cause we are just to busy. We finally have most of the parts and are machining them now. We have had a hell of a time getting the parts we need. I have a shop full of engines that are in various stages of assembly and all are at a standstill because of lack of parts.
I will post some pics as soon as I have something worth taking a pic of. Hang in there guys. Thanks
Eddie

Ill let you take the lead on the rescue mission Dean. You have lots of break in time on your motors...let me know how that works out for you :lolhit:

When we get this thing back Im just going to be thrilled if I can actually hear my boat idle...since I havent heard it do so in almost 2yrs.

Yes, going with SCX uppers and Wilson Blueprinted SCX lowers. I think now that we are shooting for even more HP that SCX lowers would be a good idea. Keeping gears @ 1.5:1....for now.

I cant tell you how pissed I am about the new IMCO -4 drive set up. I bet I have called IMCO 5 times over the last 4-5 years asking them if they were ever going to do anything to "speed up" the SCX lower...and their answer every time was "nothing planned for the immediate future".

However, I guess since Lil R raised the drives like 4 feet :lolhit: that in essence we have a similar setup now as we would with the new -4. The new lower looks lots faster though. I dont know why I am surprised...why would anything on this boat EVER go my way. :lolhit:

Did you get set of the new -4 surface drives or are you still using the old SCX upper and SC lower??
