My guy can paint the covers in about a week and a half. Once the covers go on, they aren't coming off unless there is a problem. We set the valves when we build it and then forget about them. There is no need to run the valves again. Eddie

So what would these engines cost outright if you wanted to buy them?

All of my engines are priced 100% complete and ready to drop in with engine mounts, bell housing and coupler, wiring harness and sending units, exhaust, etc. A lot of builders don't price their engines that way so sometimes it's not an accurate price comparison. With that being said, the exact price depends on exactly what you want. If we use a 3.3 Whipple, power will be limited to around a max of 1050. If we go with the 4.0 Liter, then it will be capable of well over 1200 hp. The price can run from $56,500-$63,500. The best way to go depends on not only the power you want now, but what you may want in the future. The variations in price are due to the blower used, heads, port work, etc. These prices are for a completely new engine. All parts are 100% new and the engine comes with a 6 month warranty.
The Seeley's do not fit into this catagory since they have quite a few existing parts. Their's will be no where near this much.

You are definitely right. I don't want to mess up your pretty work. It killed me to run the covers on the Hustler engines on the dyno. I was a nervous wreck that they would get scratched. No one had the time to fix them.
I'll get with you on these covers when I get back in next week. I'm sure you will knock it out of the park once again. We got so many compliments on the Hustler covers.
