That is good info. You have always spilled good drive info on here. And I think your view on the xr vs imco is gold. It takes more power to run a imco scx. Now how can I believe it takes the same power to run a 6 as an scx. Maybe it's the trannies and the xtra bs. Is there a weight differnece?
BTW I saw R3 's pics on FB but still no pics of your wifes t!t's . What gives dude.. And Eddie!, PHAFF completely redid my Motor for free. I just have to reinstall it. ( but not until my divorce is final) ..LOL

6s are heavy and going to take more power than a SCX .

Hopefully when we upgrade to the 4.0L I will get some real numbers this go around....lol.

All Kidding aside....im guessing between 1000-1020.
Who knows you might go backwards with the 4.0 deal , Mine was around 970 and close to the same speeds as you are now .

But yours were set up to run on 89 octane. Eric's has a little better head and quite a bit more camshaft as well.

I was kind of shocked at the 10 mph gain claims. I found it hard to believe. I'm not calling anyone a liar by any means. But, I still didn't expect to see 10 mph. Now, the boat needs different props. Maybe that will help a little.....who knows. I just don't think the 6 blades are the answer with the 6's. Even though the SCX drives are big, they had been blueprinted by Wilson. How much that helped, who knows. I'm sure it certainly didn't hurt. Eric just wanted to get the boat running again. It sat for almost 3 years, I believe, getting the 6's swapped in. It runs now, so we can always come back and really dial it in.
