Ok I weighed the truck boat and trailer today with the boat fully loaded and fueled up (155 gals of fuel). I have twin 502s with B&M blowers and XR drives. Here are the numbers:

2010 Ram 2500 4x4 Crew Cab Cummins (w/half tank of gas)- 7780 lbs

Trailer (34' Alum double axle) weighs in at 1000lbs

Truck Boat and trailer - 10500 lbs

So my 29 twin engine Fever fully loaded (all anchors, bumpers, coast guard kit, etc) and fueled up weighs 9500 lbs with no one in it.

You mean Boat and Trailer=10500?

What was the total weight of the Truck, Boat and Trailer, did you weigh the combination together?

Yes it was a typo Boat and trailer 10500

All three together 18280.

I had weighed the trailer without the boat before as well.

I weighed the truck by itself and then with the boat on the trailer in tow behind it.

Yeah It should have said diesel too.

Lomg night last night

You could probably subtract about 2000 lbs from my boat to get what a 29 single would weigh.

The single may have a smaller fuel tank as well. Mine is 155 gallons) so you could subtract about 7.5-8 lbs per gallon of fuel as well.

I would guess that the extra drive and 502 Mag MPI with fluids would weigh in at around 1300 lbs and the 2 superchargers (at least 100lbs each).

That would bring the single 29 fully fueled and loaded for a weekend to 7500. Than add in trailer weight (my 34' Alum weighs about 1000lbs) for a total of 8500 lbs towed.

good info. I was about right. No way a twin 29 would be in the six range, even a single. Either way a boat like this is not meant for a f150 to tow

Gaso is 6-6.25# per Gal

I think a big block chevey weighs about 1000. I have a drag boat full of full of oil frsh out of the water that weighs 1575 w a empty fuel tank. The boat is in the 6 soomething pounds area. The motor has aluminum heads. So cast iron heads I would say 1000. Don't think an out drive weighs 1000 pounds. More like 1200 for the extra motor? Fountain should know that number.
