nice 47...

my eyes keep on falling on this boat...I feel like I would jump on ti at 80-85...

http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...tning-99075473

even at 100 000$ it not a bad deal, but when I think reselling this big triple, 'im sure 80-85 will still make me loose big money...

I'm I right about that?

If it was worth the money, Eddie would have bought it already as he lives at loto and is on the prowl. My guess is that it may be a salty and that the thought of haveing to put headers on 3 engines among other things would not be entiecing. But hey, it may be just fine. Eddie may chime in on this

I looked at this boat a couple different times a couple years ago, boat looks better in pics than in person. Boat is not a 100% salt boat but does have salt water hours. You could buy boat and run as is depending on how picky you are about your boats, for me it would have been a project boat.
They wanted an extra $10,000 for the trailer & I would not have given $5000 for it. Ed did look at this boat & was not very impressed.
If you could get it for 80-85k (prob not) and have room for a 47' project boat it would be a good buy. As far as resale you just have to find the right person for this type of boat. I just bought an 2004 and I plan on keeping it for a while. As Ed said, it is a condo on water & mine runs 89 mph on gps with stock motors.
Good luck in your search

"Eddie" on this board and he is a mod on MWBP. Very knowledgable and helpful. He just sold his 2002 47 Fountain and is currently looking again for a new boat. He lives at Loto.

To sum it up, He's the unofficial ambassador to LOTO:coolcowboy:

Wow  thanks Chris :lolhit:

I've looked at it a few times, it did help me sell my 47. Gentleman from Canada went and looked it it and came and bought ours. Like Steve said we both looked at the boat, never one of us bought it. It needs some TLC for sure. Gen was rebuilt, headers were welded, transom was replaced. The windshield frame needs areas repowder coated, few paint chips and a new owner.

Eddie,

I think that yellow fountain at shogren's with 900's has your name all over it :evilb:
