99 47 Trip 800Scs
I know where one is. 135 hrs or so. Trip Merc 800s w wet 6s.
Been sitting atleast 4 yrs. Its a beast. Trying to get it fired up so we can run it. Anybody had one? Prop ideas? I know its for sale if anybody is interested. To bad its probably worth more in parts. |
What are they asking??
|
I will check and see.
I gues from the responses not too many of these built. |
Is that the all white one? The marilyn Monroe boat was the same setup I believe. Txhawk would have a good idea on props and speed

Kind of what I was thinking I went thru an insane amount of 93in a 42 with triple 525 SC last year May - October. This would make the 42 fuel bill look like lunch money.

3x800 = 2400 HP means about 250 gallons per hour or about a thousand dollars per hour. And that's just the immediate cash flow required. Add in the maintenance expense of perhaps another $30K to $90K per year...
I don't know about you, but while it may be fun, I dunno if its THAT fun. |
