Anyone know the skinny on this boat?
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o41549-en.html
I have been looking at 29 fevers for a while now, but the price on them compared to some larger boats with more engines isn't all that far off, all though i have been looking at 2000 and newer. I figured i would start looking at some of the larger boats. For 20-30k more it seems like a guy can have a pretty nice 38 or 42. Any pros or cons on the model i linked would be great. |
Great boat, looks very clean in the pix.
Just a little reminder, blower motors require a little more maintenance the, say regular factory motors. But for that kind of money, looks good. |
those blower motors would be a little on the scary side but for that price!......good thing a 42 wont fit in my shop.

I love the drive train !

The blown motors are a little scary for me, what i would really like to find is a 42 with staggered 500efi's for a good price. 525's wouldn't break my heart either. I just really don't want to have to run 93 octane. Also i am not familiar with BDS blowers. Seems to me whipple and the the blower shop seem to be the norm on marine engines. The price is rather tempting though... Being able to break the century mark would be BAD@$$ but the wife is pregnant and due next april (which is now putting a hell of a burden on my boat fund) and the actuality of being on the water much the next few years is gonna be pretty slim, much less being able to open it up often enough to see triple digits.

I would hate that much power in a 42 and Bravo based drives.
