Flowscan Fuel flow system

Anyone using or have exp. with Flowscan Twin scan fuel flow monitoring system?considering putting one on 94 35 Lightning with blown 502s making about 650 each. Factory fuel gauges leave alot to be desired. Ran out of gas once and limped back on one motor, luckely i was close to a fuel dock. Please post your thoughts THANKS!

I had a set on my previous boat. I have a complete set sitting in the closet if your interested???

My setup had a single gage with a switch you could flip to see what each engine was eating. There was also a digital meter at the bottom of the gage that reads the total amount of fuel used by both engines at all times. There was also a momentary switch to reset the system.

Let me know if you have any other questions?

Can you hook them into a GPS so that it could calculate m.p.g?

Would seem like a great way to optimize trim on longer runs.

FlowScan

I had them on a 32' Spectra with twin BB Chevys. They were great, I loved them. Both tachs were combined into one gauge and then Both fuel flows were in the other gauge that when where the second tach was. They were tied to the gps so on the tach you can toggle between an engine syncrometer and digital mpg, The Gallons per hour dual gauge show what your fuel burn is on each engine and then there is a digital indicator that gives total gallons used, and you can re set it when you want. There are fuel flow meters that go in the fuel lines to each engine and it takes a day or two to get everything calibrated. I liked them alot.

That looks like it would be a really handy tool. My gas gauge on my Fountain has never worked.

Once calibrated they are very accurate.
