lyvorsi gps battery replacement
I took it apart and it looks like the battery is siezed and will not come out. Is this part of the unit. Or do I need a soldering Iron. Thanks in advance for any help.

It's soldered in, If you are that far down you can probably take it to a Battery Warehouse near you and they can solder in a new one. Or just grab the GPS signal from your main unit and connect that to the speedo.

I went through the same as you 2X. I eventually bought the new style without the battery. Call livorsi and they will give you the info. I think it was about $150 but I'm not 100% sure, it was a few months ago.
Go to www.livorsi.com and there is a link to gps replacement antennas |
I did the update to the new unit minus the battery last spring. Long term seemed like the best route. Call Livorsi and they can fix you up, very simple deal and not unreasonable cost wise.
