Updated windshield on Ebay fever install
 

Has anyone out there ever try to install the newer style glass windshield to a late 90's fever?? Great Lakes skipper has them on EBay and I'm wondering if you have to make any major fiberglass changes or if it will directly bolt on. Like all the rest, my tinted plexi is starting to craze and I like the modern look of Glass

From what I was told by fountain it is not possible. I just had my boat wrapped and it solved the problem.

They changed the top cap of the hull on lightnings. That set the foundation for the new winshield to be set on. The one listed there looks like its for a bigger boat like a 47 or 42. However, a custom windscreen or windshield is always possible

I tried to install one of those eBay gl skipper windshields on an 2000 27 I had 5 years ago. Something is strange about the fit on them, I think the glass may be seconds or something. It didn't fit very well, my .02
