Seems cheap relative to what other Fountain 35s are going for in its year/model range, as most that I've been looking at around this year people are asking about $10-20k more, which is too much IMO.

Like flying J said that price is about right.

I remember calling about this one a couple months ago. Seems like a decent boat, but I'm not a fan of those checkered graphics on the side.

Guys says it only runs high 60's, 70 tops. Seems slow?

Yea I need to get some pics loaded up. I've been busy just havent had time yet. It's a solid boat needs a few odds and ends to be perfect. But, I'll have her ready come spring!!

Nobody has shown me or have I found a better deal yet. Cant believe its that slow though.

I'm told that it's hard if not impossible to get a boat loan on the older stuff.

Are people doing home equity to get the cash? 50k is alot of money to pay cash on a toy that you take a loss on.

If you had cash I'd buy something newer and "Trouble free"

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure its an ex-US Customs boat, for what its worth.

Talked to the Borker that has the 35. back in Nov. 2011 My friend lives by the boat says its in rough shape one motor was not winterized right and was re done. To me that seems as if the owner didnt really care for the boat. Its also listed on this link to boats.com

I sold mine in that price range with documented 500HP'S - posted it on Powerboatlistings and it sold in 3 days......

New owner pulled the wrap - almost makes me wish I would have kept it.

I agree. My 93 35 Lightning had carbed 502's at 390 hp and did 73-74 with a hand held GPS. Props were 25 if I remember.

Fountain report was 74.

That was a good deal! However, I think it was a fair price for trying to move a boat quickly, and what has to be done to make it "mint" again.

Most of the performance boats out there are still over priced IMO, the good -fair deals don't last long

I remember calling about this boat last fall and I second what you said here. It was a fair price, although it needed some TLC, but Condor was straight up about it needing some.
