29 Fountian fuel tank size
 

What is the fuel tank size on a 97 twin engine if that matters ? 100 gal ?

I am pretty sure mine is 155 gals

Mine is single engine and its 140 gal. If you remove the access panel under the back seat there should be a info tag on the tank, that's where mine was.

ok thanks, I was thinking it was 150 or so , but I saw an add for one today and it said it held under 100 gal .. he must be tring to pad his add a bit ..

My 29 ' single is 131 gal.

I have a 2006 and it's 140 gallons (twin 6.2s but I don't think that makes a difference). I've read on this forum that the gauge goes down slowly at first and then quickly. I'll test the lower "limits" of the gas gauge this coming summer with 5 or so extra 5-gallon tanks onboard.

Our tanks have always been shallow and long. Fuel stacks up at the back of the tank showing a gauge on "FULL". Having low profile sleek boats with low CG equates to long and fairly shallow tanks.
