Thanks, been fun rebuilding it so far

A.O. Razor 02-05-2012 01:09 PM

Nice.

So what is the next step in the build? Btw is that the original x-dim or has it been changed? Looks low to me, but it might just be the photo.

Game Day 02-05-2012 02:01 PM

It's the original. I'm wiring up the the new Livorsi carbon dash and gauges right now as well as the new stereo. Don't know if I'm going to redo the cockpit this summer or wait till after summer

Meshikinquah 02-05-2012 02:02 PM

Thanks, been finding some good stuff for decent prices and doing most the work myself and some good buddies

Thunderstruck27 02-06-2012 10:02 AM

Sweet looking 12meter...will you be slipping it at GLOC or trailering? How's the water level at GLOC?

halfgassed 02-06-2012 10:58 AM

looks good! How hard was converting it to the 500 efi's?

Game Day 02-06-2012 12:09 PM

Thanks guys! I'm actually on Lake Tenkiller but I'll be going to GLOC and LOTO quite a bit. It really hasn't been that difficult switching over to the efi's since the previous owner had fuel injected power in it. The exhaust has been a little time comsuming since I'm building the dry tailpipes myself.

That's going to be nicely loud. Post a vid when you fire her up. I love a dry exhaust.

game day, keep up the good work,i am also working on one,a 99 fever with 6 drives,i baught it with 1 blown engine and one really tired one, just ran the 1st fresh one on the dyno last week, just north of 1200 hp,man i love my new 8.3l whipples.maybe well meet at loto this year,im going to the shootout and staying for a week.

drksuroo 02-06-2012 07:40 PM

Looks good. Maybe see you at GLOC this summer.

That will be a really nice setup Mike. I was originally going to go with more power but came across this power and drive combo at a great price and within 50 miles of my house so I jumped on it. I tore both engines down and rebuilt them so they are ready to go with no worries. The next set though will be a bit more power.

MILD THUNDER 02-08-2012 12:27 AM

Congrats on the project. That boat used to have some big blown injected 900hp Larry Peto engines in it, with SSM III drives. I believe it also has built in A/C??? Whoever added the boxes and #5's headed in the right direction with that.

Boat should run low 70's with 500's, you'll never hurt the drives.

BTW, the old ssm drives are cool :bunnydance:

Game Day 02-08-2012 07:21 AM

Mild your correct, it did have big blown injected engines in it. The guy I got the boat from bought it just for all the power and drives. Yes it does have factory A/C, which will be much appreciated during the Oklahoma summer! Yea, the 500's shouldn't give the #5's much headache but the next pair in a yr or so should keep them well excercised, well hopefully anyways...
