Cockpit cover material

What is the best material to use for a cockpit cover.
Maybe something light for easier storage?

Thanks for any help

I have a Carver cover with the 8 oz. Performance Poly-Guard material and it works great.

Sunbrella. Nothing better.

What ever the old silver covers were made of, was better IMO, than the newer lighter cover material. I never had to worrry about taping the silver cockpit cover down when I trailered my boat. But you better tape the newer lighter ones down, if you go very far. As far as at the dock either one works fine.
