yes it looks like the bow is riding nice and high .the drives still need to go up 3 inches to be surfacing there is probably 7 to 10 mph to gain

Don't know if I have missed it in a post, but where are the prop shafts relative to the bottom now and what does the test sheet say about x-dim? Is the x-dim of the SCX-4 4 inches shorter than the stock B1 21.13/16" x-dim? From the rooster, they do not look super high, but too little rake will definetly lift the transom and plow the bow. If you are spinning out, try spinning in, that should settle the stern and raise the bow as well.

I'm gonna try more rake and lengthening the PU notches.
As far as raising the engines. Nope. It'll get the SC's put back on. lol Good for 100 hours.....usually.

Propshaft is even with the bottom of the boat. Props are turning in. Drives are toe'd in 1/8" from tip of bullet to end of shaft

How much are your water pickups below the bottom of the boat? picture may be decieving.

thanks for the update/. Sounds like $ w no more speed. I hope you get more out the set up. I will be trying mine soon. I'm -1 inch prop cl. But I'm going to try w bravo style 5 blade props.

Speed gain was NOT the goal but I did cross all my fingers and toes. I'm looking for reliability.
Good news is that I didn't lose any with that honken lower, larger gears and prop.
If you haven't seen one, they're large. I think the lower is larger than a 6. I'd have to see them side by side to tell for sure.
I'll get it figured out. Hell, it's only March. Summer in Seattle is on August 19.....most of the time!

The PU's hang way down to get water. At least 3/4" and they're Teague scoops. We figured PSI would be through the roof when I had them hanging 1/4" down with the notches I made. I kept lowering them to get PSI. It didn't seem to make a difference in the ride but I'm sure it isn't helping. I'm gonna lengthen the notches in the hull from 3" to 15", raise the PU's back up, keep the upper portions tight agains the transom plate (so they'll be less prone to drawing in air?), try 16.8" X 36P 21*rake props, and see what happens.
Hopefully sooner than later!!!
