ok. This is the second outdrive i have ever owned in my whole life so I was not sure how to fix this.:eekdrop:

I don't want to blame anybody! Who cares how it got this way, maybe UPS . my drive guy.. who knows.

Anyway.

A snap on plastic dead blow hammer and a 30 year old bodywork dolly does the trick. I just was not sure. But it worked. It straitened like butter. ( But I have straitened lots of metal)
Now I can blue-print it thanks to Rob.

I just wondered how much speed it would scrub off at oh say 95...

Yes they are soft or fragile , I have welded quite a few skags on for the boat yards that bust them .

they're pretty much blue printed now finished off with a little 600 you're a damn good welder hahahahaha I thought about bondoing some of tye low spots.
they are pretty thin now so I'm hoping they don't bend or anything at high speed. do you know where the silver paint came from that is on the lowers looks like it sticks really good

I have not messed with those lowers , those were on the boat when I bought it in 09 .
