Props for a Staggered 35 Lightning

I am looking for advice on what propellors have worked well on newer (08) staggered 35's. I had 5 blade maximus props but they were to low a pitch for me when I powered up to 700hp (per motor). I switched to 6 blade herrings, but they seem much more unstable at high speed. Am I imagining this or has someone else found the Herrings unstable? These Herring props are the same (I think) as what Fountain installed on 525 equipped 35 Lightnings. Thoughts?

I had an 09 35 with 525's and finally ended up using the 7 blade Herings, they were 30's and ran great. lost a little of the top end but for overall performance they were top on my list.

Good luck;

Jay

How did you decide between the 6 and 7 blades? I think my old boat (35 with 525's) had 31 pitch 6 blade Herings. Maybe you go to 30 with another blade.
