Cutting Down windshield on 99 42' lightning

A buddy of mine just bought a 42 lightning. I went to look at it and told him that the windshield needed to be cut down. I thought I saw a thread on here about doing that. does anyone have pics of thiers or has anyone done it that can tell me how hard it was to do. If i could see some pics i am positive we can do the job.

I did mine about 4 years ago. you are limited to how far you can lower it using all of old parts (lexan & top rail). Two of us took all of one weekend to do the job.

Mine is coming down at some point. I kinda like the wind/rain block right now but I agree they are too tall. You have to stretch the top frame because it actually moves forward. So just plan to weld a piece of top rail in then cut the side and front post. Guys have used jig saws with fine blades to cut the lexan. Just make sure you run water to cool the blade or you will have a mess. Everyone says its about a 12 hour job and I know of 3 guys who have cut them down
