99 lightning 35 with HP 500's carb.

Looking at a pretty clean 99 35' lightning single step with carb. HP 500's and trailer, fairly low hours. What is a fair price for this boat ?

On a trailer ? what kind of trailer? options? 60-80k

Todd Robson 05-02-2012 06:21 AM

standard options, race faring. Good, clean steel trailer with surge brakes. 275 hrs., engines have not been apart, but springs have been replaced at 200hrs. with new isky springs.
Pictures look good and clean, taking a 5 hr. drive tomorrow to look at it and just was wanting some ideas as to price to offer if I like it. Prices are all over the place from what I see, 55-70K seems to be the average.

There is one in Northern MI that sounds like what you may be describing. $55k is what seems fair to me in this economy.

Todd, what is he asking for it?

i offered 55K on 3 boats with the exact same setup, hours and year and got turned down. Single step 35s hold there value well with blue motors. I think low 60s will be closer to a bring home $$ amount if the boat is in good condition and good colors

I would agree, 55K seems to be a saleable price, but if he likes the boat, it will take 60 K plus, they are nice boats, good luck

I have a 98, 35 that has to go. It's very clean and mechanically strong. All the mechanical stuff have been replace, all stock and turn key.

Its listed for 57900 but it's got to go so can can work on the price.

Give me a call (443-883-0665) and I can go over all the details.

Again...I'm ready to make someone an awesome DEAL.

It would have to be one damm sharp 1999 35X with 500 efi's to justify more than $60K in this market. But having said that, I would pay $65K for an exceptional one like the one Ragged and I had.
