I agree on price. Salt water corrodes all the electrical connections etc. Put a fresh water boat and a salt water boat side by side and you decide. I have a 27 now and finally just gave up on a 29. My 05' 27 with a 496HO has been flawless by the way. The best boat I have ever owned. I use it on a fairly large and sometimes rough lake. I decided I didn't really need a 29. I tried to buy a '10 29 and the guy would not move off of 120K. I don't really like the rail around the rear pad either. I never use it with the boat moving but use it a ton when sitting.

Didn't even affect my rigging. That package probably has around 1500 hours in the salt. It's not the salt or the boat; it's the person taking care of it.

If you run in salt there is always constant erosion. In fresh water , not so much. As long as you replace eroded parts like thermostat housings etc. A boat should be fine after years of use.. Then if you take that boat to freshwater. The constant eriosion and corrosion will sease. At least mostly. So a salt water boatis still a great boat... As long as all the eroded parts have been replaced or maintained. I just don't like saltwater running through my bildge pump or getting all on my trailer. :D

I have worked on my own boats for 20 years. Fortunatly the one I have now hasn't required much. Just maintainance and a GPS antenna. Some of the others I have had required quite a bit.

None of this applies for me. My thermostat housing is full of antifreeze. It's all bout the owner.

Get to workin' so you can fix my paint again!!! :lolhit:
