I reiterate if it wasn't left in water it really doesn't matter.. especially on a low hour boat. Anyways good luck even finding one of those, the few that do pop up for sale sell at very high prices.

Salt water corrodes all the electrical connections etc. Put a fresh water boat and a salt water boat side by side and you decide.

Didn't even affect my rigging. That package probably has around 1500 hours in the salt. It's not the salt or the boat; it's the person taking care of it.

If you run in salt there is always constant erosion. In fresh water , not so much. As long as you replace eroded parts like thermostat housings etc. A boat should be fine after years of use.. Then if you take that boat to freshwater. The constant eriosion and corrosion will sease. At least mostly. So a salt water boatis still a great boat... As long as all the eroded parts have been replaced or maintained. I just don't like saltwater running through my bildge pump or getting all on my trailer. :D
Get to workin' so you can fix my paint again!!! :lolhit: |
