Anyone work at Fountain anymore?

Been repeated calling the factory to try and get a copy of the performance data sheet for my boat and no one ever answers? Any ideas where to turn?

stangkilr 05-31-2012 03:46 PM

email Tony [email protected]

I don't know about performance reports. I contacted Tony by email and phone to order parts. He answered both promptly and took good care of my order.

prostock85 05-31-2012 05:59 PM

Thanks, emailing him now

Reggie Fountain 06-04-2012 03:30 PM

What size boat do you need a race fairing for? We can build them.

Tony, took care of some parts and interior material in a very timely manner for me. No issues here.

triple 300s 06-05-2012 05:52 PM

I tried to buy a new boat from them last week and they said they were not interested. Anyone have any ideas why this may be? I really want a 2013 Ftn....I hear they are bada$$.

pullmytrigger 06-06-2012 08:33 AM

emailed Tony on the 4th about my piece of bow rail, haven't heard anything yet.

Allirunner 06-12-2012 05:33 PM

FYI... Tony is no longer working there and Gail took my order today.

eddie 06-12-2012 05:36 PM

I also talked to Gail today, she said he's calling people back as fast as she can. Slim pickings in the office there right now.

I've been wondering how a 2013 42 Lightning with Merc 565's would run. :evilb:

Allirunner 07-03-2012 08:13 AM

What's different that makes them "Bad Ass"? Did I miss something and they changed? I have not seen 1 new sportboat on the market for fountain in the past year or two

That was a joke, however take a look at an 07 plus cockpit and cabin interior, gauges, dash, pretty amazing the changes they made. Bottom is the same, why change a good thing :)

triple 300s 07-03-2012 02:16 PM

Yes, this was a joke. 4bus is right the new interior is awesome.

$208.00 each and they have to be trimmed locally to match the existing.

Thanks-I was told by my mechanic the "whole" top trim of the windshield has to come off in order to access. True? My side windows are "crazed" and need to be done. He said it is a "major repair".
Would like to hear your thoughts.

You can have that top trim off in about two minutes. Two long screws on the aft end from the top side. Then a total of 8 surface screws need to be removed from the inside mounting points. Last undo the two screws in the center front cover, where both trim pieces meet, then remove.

The rubber gasket "floats" and makes removing the glass very simple. I had my entire frame off this winter, painted it to match the boat. Was much easier than I expected due to the fact that the glass floats, rather than sitting tight in the gaskets like most windshields.

My windows are crazed as well, everyone asks every freakin time I go out. They were not bad in the spring, they have gotten worse since. Going to replace this winter for sure.
