How much HP does it take to turn a 30p prop on a 47 Fountain?

Guys... I am going through my 2000 47 with a fine tooth comb and it looks like two out of the three motors need a refresh. Not a big deal... but I do have a question. The boat came with 30p props when I bought it which are not even close to stock. The one motor that does start right up sounds healthy to say the least. Is there anyway that the previous owner upgraded these motors??... or can stock 500EFI's actually turn 30p props??

I have the original performance sheet from Fountain and the serial numbers match each motor. Originally came with trip 500efi's 1.5 ratio with 26p props. Boat ran 83 WOT at 5400rpm when tested at the factory.

Thanks guys and let me know what you think....

I'd be more than glad to try them on my 47. I have trip 500efi's and I have 28p props. I've been wanting to try 30's but don't want to go thru the expense of buying them without trying them. You can make a trip to Miami and we'll put them on and go for a ride.
