I pulled a '98 single 29 with a 2000 Expedition 5.4. It was a handful, but managed.

I assume you mean 8 foot tall garage door? If so, yes. If you mean 8 feet wide, no.

My brother pulled one with a Durango. You'll be fine with the F-150.

Here is a pic of my 28 Active Thunder going into a 8 foot tall garage with 1 inch to spare. The Fountain is lower.

i have a 8ft and some change garage door and my 27 and 10meter fountain go under no problem.the 27 has good room, the 10meter is tight.i have about 3" clearence.your ford should pull it no problem.what you should worry about is stopping it when you are going down the hyway.

How new is the F150. Don't quote me on this but I do believe up to 08 they were rated at 8,500 lbs. 09 and up are 10,000 lbs. Depending on motor and axle ratio. Some drilled and slotted rotors with Hawk pads would solve stopping problems.

And a good set of electric over hydralic trailer brakes would help too.

I would say YES it will fit but it is going to be REALLY tight. My 29 Fever is on a Venture triple axle trailer with 225x75x15 wheels. I just measured it and it's exactly 96" to the top of the windshield! It is probably fractionally lower when it sits on the trailer ball but that is how high it is when I crank it up enough to clear the trailer hitch ball. If your garage door cranks up all the way to give you a full 96" you might have to go through a few tricks to clear the windshield. I'd have someone spotting you the first couple of times as even the amount of fuel in the boat (these things hold over 130 gallons) could make a difference. Good luck.

PS. I would agree w/the others in that an F150 with a 5.4 will pull your 29' w/o an issue. I always use low range at the ramp just to make it easier on the truck. Checking the trailer brakes every year and having top condition brakes on your truck is a must as already mentioned. I always drive a little slower and follow farther back with the boat. I'll pull over to let traffic by if need be.

I don't know about the 29. But my 27 on a Myco trailer fits under the 8 foot door just by a couple of inches. I pull it with a F150 or my wifes 04 Expedition with no problem. Just be smart and leave plenty of stopping room.
