So do the newer 07 and up 35 Lightnings that are staggered do they also have NXTs I thought they were XRs with a really high X and close together thats why the rooster.

The staggered 35's with 525s and 600s run XR/-2 sportmaster and an x-dim aound 18½" or so. Some with ITS, some without. There's a staggered 35 out there with NXT/SSM drives. All Fountains with NXT's run the NXT/SSM setup, for some reason Fountains don't like the NXT1.

Ok thanks, one other question the staggered 35s what props do they use stock. And are they obscene dollars. Thanks for the info.

My 35' 07 staggered runs maximus 5 blade 32's. Always a rooster tail until you start to trim it.

My 02 42 with 6's threw a bunch of water tucked in all the way but the higher the drive and faster the boat the less water... Same with the MTI now as speed increases and the boat hooks up the tail goes down. For the most part the more tail the more slip.
