i am trying to work a deal on a 96 27 fever with trailer always in freshn water.here are the details.

1996 27 foot Fountain Fever

1995 Trailmaster dual axle trailer, with diamond plate side steps and aluminum wheels

454 mag EFI motor, recently professionally rebuilt by known engine builder in Rochester NY. .030 over will all new internals, block and heads were magnafluxed, block was line bored. Engine runs very strong and makes very good oil pressure, approx 30 to 35 hours since rebuild.

2004 Merc Bravo outdrive, unit was replaced in 04’ by previous owner, unit was brand new in 04’, when motor work was done I had the marina work done at a fountain dealer in Canandaigua NY, they went through the outdrive as well and everything was in great shape.

Merc Bravo 24 pitch 4 blade prop which was recently refinished and polished.

Gaffrig gauges and controls

Gaffrig GPS speedometer with memory

CD player with XM radio and 6 speakers

Porta potti

Upgraded to two group 24 battery system with remote battery switch

Silent Choice exhaust

Hyd trim tabs with indicators

Steering wheel drive trim controls

Engine fire extinguishing system

Drop down Bolster seats

Indy Graphics

Full boat cover



New cockpit cover (2011)

Embroidered cockpit carpet

Re-upholstered engine hatch(sun deck) spring of 2010.



Re-upholstered back seat bottom spring of 2012.

check the NADA
it say's around $ 15k
of course that is with old motor no rebuild

hes asking 30,000 im shooting for 25,000

book values are always off. i dont think he is out of line at 30. keep in mind that book value does not include the trailer

02 in buffalo for 35k.. possible bad motor it pushed a freeze plug out. offer 25k for that and be 6 years newer

i would but i wont have the money to fix the engine

true but even if you have to put a block in it its still worth way more than a 96. he doesnt know if the motor is bad or not he hasnt run it. its a gamble could be fine could need a block the freeze plugs might have done their job
